a few pics

 most of these are pics of our family & me in west michigan prior to moving in 1984, but even after our family moved to southern cal, I stayed in west michigan myself, as did my sister & older brother. But '84 marked the time I began commuting from southern Cal to Grand Rapids & vice-versa depending on the event, holiday, et al. Not all of these pics are of us IN Grand Rapids, but are of family members from Grand Rapids, most of whom still live there. .

 I was into being muscular at that age...stasrted working out...flexing muscles, trying to be cool...liked basketball as you can see from the posters...I see my 12 gauge shotgun behind me and a pair of boots..tried a little deerhunting as well as goose for a while with some friends..
