4/27/89 34th annual honors convocation , calvin college...this honors convocation program keeps re-appearing as I sift thru my various papers and documents that I periodically scan and post online. This really was a moment to be proud of during my first four years of college. To make the "honors list" means you were above a certain minimum GPA (I think it was 3.5 or higher). That's not easy to do. It takes a lot of committment and concentration and work and is something to be proud about. Not everybody can say they made the honor roll. It's not about boasting, it's about being proud of good effort and committment. We should ALL always give our best, especially our best 'for the kingdom!"
